Climate Models
==============

The Climate DT comprises three coupled atmosphere–ocean models: :ref:`icon`,
:ref:`ifs_fesom`, and :ref:`ifs_nemo`. Each runs at approximately 5 km to 10 km
atmospheric resolution, with ocean components at varying resolutions depending on
the model. Each uses a different native grid, but output is interpolated onto a
common HEALPix mesh and harmonised using a Generic State Vector (GSV) for
consistent access across all three models.
