Glossary ======== AOI (Area of Interest) The geographic area selected by the user for running an analysis. AAS (Advanced Application and Service) A service integrated and delivered through the DestinE platform. Archive window The supported historical time range for which the service can process requests (e.g., up to 1 year back). CSV Comma-Separated Values file format, used for tables and spreadsheet analysis. DEDL (DestinE Data Lake) The DestinE data repository from which CONOPS retrieves input datasets. DVI Epidemiological model used by CONOPS to estimate mosquito-borne disease risk indicators. Export Downloading results for external use. In CONOPS this includes CSV and GeoJSON. GeoJSON A JSON-based geospatial format storing geometries (points/lines/polygons) and properties (attributes). IAM (Identity and Access Management) Authentication and authorization services used to manage user access (DestinE uses Keycloak-based IAM). Indicator A numeric output produced by the service (e.g., abundance or risk measure) for a given AOI and time period. MAMOTH Entomological model used by CONOPS to estimate mosquito abundance indicators. NUTS Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics. A European regional classification often used to select areas. Order / Job A processing request submitted by a user. Orders have statuses such as Queued, Running, Completed, or Failed. XAI (Explainable AI) Techniques and outputs that help explain model results (e.g., drivers/importance, quality/confidence indicators).
