Complementary Services

Active Deformation Area (ADA)

The Active Deformation Area (ADA) service provides an intuitive screening and interpretation layer on top of any InSAR‑derived dataset. ADA automatically identifies clusters of measurement points that exhibit statistically significant deformation behaviour, highlighting zones of potential instability.

The ADA service can be applied to results generated by GGMS or to external InSAR products. Systematic processing of such datasets enables the generation of consistent, large‑scale ADA maps, including the potential for pan‑European coverage.

ADA maps are particularly useful for early‑warning applications, prioritisation of field inspections, and rapid risk screening over large territories.

Differential Deformation Map (DDM)

The Differential Deformation Map (DDM) service quantifies spatial deformation gradients within individual buildings or infrastructure assets of significant size.

DDM products are derived from any InSAR‑based deformation dataset and estimate relative motion between different parts of a structure or asset. This information is essential for detecting structural stress, differential settlement, or progressive damage.

DDM outputs support engineers, asset managers, and safety authorities responsible for large buildings, transport infrastructure, industrial facilities, and other critical objects.
