The DestinE Platform portfolio includes datasets from DestinE Data Lake, including simulations generated by the DestinE Digital Twins, as well as datasets from other federated data sources (e.g. the Copernicus Data Space Ecosystem).
Data access
Which data are available on the DestinE Platform?
Where can I access the data collections?
They are available from the DestinE Platform Services catalogue. Go to the Services catalogue and filter the services by selecting “Data Access” in the Category list available on the left column.
How can I search for specific datasets?
You can discover data by using the following services:
- Data Cache Management Service – this service provides access to DestinE Digital Twin, C3S ERA5, Copernicus Sentinel, CMEMS and Sentinel-2 Mosaic data in zarr format, designed for scalable access.
- Polytope – this service offers data in its native format, ensuring integrity and precision.
- EDEN – this service provides a seamless way to discover and access data sourced from multiple origins.
- Harmonized Data Access (HDA) – this service harmonises the data accessibility, offering smooth access to datasets gathered from various sources.
- Earth Data Hub – a gateway to access pre-processed, analysis-ready DestinE Digital Twin and other data optimised for cloud computing in zarr format.
How can I integrate my datasets into HDA (Harmonised Data Access) EUMETSAT service?
The DestinE Data Lake (DEDL) enables you to share your datasets, making them accessible to any user via DEDL HDA API and the DestinE Data Portfolio.
In order to request integration of your data, please follow the Promote user data to become DestinE data instructions:
- After registering your DestinE Platform account, please contact the DestinE Platform Team from the Support web page to request data integration and initiate the process. Be sure to provide all relevant details.
- You will then be contacted directly by the DEDL support team with the request to complete a questionnaire, along with information about the next steps of the process.
- Your request will be assessed, and the DEDL support team will notify you about the outcome.
