Insula services new release live on 5 May

The Insula – the Hub between Data and Decisions services, implemented by partner CGI, are User Workflows services that enable users to process complex information and integrate their own algorithms.

What’s new in this release?

The latest release of Insula (v1.0.15) brings several important enhancements across both Processing and Code components:

 

  • Insula Processing 1.0.15 now enables access to Climate Digital Twin (DT) data via the EDEN catalogue, available only to users with Upgraded Access permissions. To request Upgraded Access, apply here after signing up.
    Additionally, this release marks the introduction of the ERA5 data processor, available via the Intellect component, expanding the platform’s capabilities for EO data handling.

 

  • Insula Code 1.0.15 includes the new Jupyter resource extension by default and enriches the Python kernel with additional modules, offering a more seamless and powerful coding experience for users.
    Also, a new Jupyter Notebook is now available, providing a practical example of how to access and work with Climate DT data.
