We would like to inform you that a planned maintenance will take place on Monday 26 January 2026, from 10:00 to 17:00 CET, to deploy a new version of the Destination Earth Data Lake HDA (Harmonised Data Access).
What’s new in this new version?
The new HDA version includes new features and bug fixes and, in particular:
- Authentication via API Keys
- New collections and datasets, including:
- 6 new collections from EUMETSAT Datastore
- 2 new user-generated collections
- CIMP6 climate projections dataset
- Links to Jupyter Notebooks from DestinE HDA repository added to the corresponding STAC collections metadata
- Configuration and metadata updates, including metadata harmonisation and fixes, adaptation to changes on provider’s side for CLMS and EUM collections.
Impact
- HDA: Default values have been removed in HDA V2. This may affect existing user scripts, as scripts relying on default values may no longer work.
- DEDL Web Portal: the portal will be updated with new features and usability improvements. Minor service disruptions may occur during the maintenance window.
