The DestinE Platform team will attend the 5th ECMWF-ESA Machine Learning Workshop, taking place in Bologna, Italy from 13 to 17 April 2026.
This international event focuses on the latest developments in machine learning for Earth observation, weather and climate science, bringing together experts to explore emerging opportunities, scientific challenges and the role of advanced computing technologies in shaping the future of environmental prediction systems.
As part of the programme, the platform will join the poster session on Monday 13 April, from 15:10 to 18:10, presenting Accelerating Climate Innovation through Machine Learning and Advanced Digital Twin Service. Our contribution highlights AI-based services available on the platform, including GeoAI – now successfully integrated into DestinEStreamer (read here) – and EAGLE, as well as other existing services that incorporate AI features.
These services illustrate how the DestinE Platform opens new possibilities for climate intelligence by combining advanced Earth system modelling with cutting-edge AI to deliver precise, actionable insights at scale.
More information is available on the event website here.
We look forward to a productive exchange with stakeholders and the wider community.
