The DestinE Platform team will be at the ESA Digital Twin Earth Components Open Science Meeting, taking place in ESRIN in Frascati (Italy) from 2 to 4 February 2026.
The event focuses on the ESA Digital Twin Earth (DTE) programme, designed to maximise the use of Earth Observation in developing digital twins for the Earth system and to contribute to the future evolution of Destination Earth and other operational Digital Twin initiatives in European Member States.
Our participation will highlight how the DestinE Platform supports cooperation across Digital Twin initiatives by providing a structured environment where services can be onboarded, discovered and effectively exploited.
The team will contribute through the following sessions:
- Poster
- From Research to Reality: Onboarding and Integrating External Services into the Destination Earth Platform
- Presentations
- Fostering Innovation and Collaboration: Empowering the European Digital Twin Ecosystem through the DestinE Platform Service – Wednesday 4 February at 10:45
- Advantages of onboarding DTCs as services on the DestinE Platform – Wednesday 4 February at 11:15
- Networking & support
Our Onboarding team will be available during the DestinE Platform Services Networking Session – Wednesday 4 February at 12:15–13:00
Through these activities, we aim to share practical insights on service onboarding and engage with the wider community to support discussions on the evolution of Digital Twin use in Europe.
Although on-site registrations are closed, online attendance is still possible and does not require registration. More information is available on the event website here.
We look forward to a productive exchange with stakeholders, partners and the wider community.
