We are excited to announce release 3.6.0 of the EDEN service, bringing a significant expansion to its data offerings. This update reinforces EDEN as a valuable hub for climate, environmental, and Earth observation data, empowering users with cutting-edge insights for research, decision-making, and policy planning.
Key highlights
- ECMWF Climate Change Adaptation Digital Twin now available
This pioneering capability generates multi-decadal climate projections to assess the potential impacts of various scenarios and policy decisions at global, regional, and local scales.
- More Sentinel data, ready for use
New Sentinel-3 and Sentinel-5P variables are provided in cloud-native format. These datasets, along with many others, are cached and WMS-ready for streamlined access.
- Enhanced data access via DestinE Data Lake
Integration with DEDL now offers additional datasets from the Copernicus Climate Change Service collections, including Seasonal Forecasts, UERRA, Randolph Glacier Inventory, In-situ and Satellite Observations.
Deployment details
The new release will be deployed on 20 March starting at 10:00 CET. Minimal service downtime is expected as the new datasets and processing chains are configured throughout the day, gradually making the new products visible on the catalogue.
