SenCore new release live on 19 March

The new SenCore release introduces new features for real-time alerting, advanced data querying, station comparison and OGC interoperability.

SenCore is a real-time sensor data integration service that provides a centralised, secure platform to ingest real-time streams from IoT devices and ground stations.

What’s new in this release?

The second release of the SenCore service introduces the following new features:

  • Ruled-Based Alerting System, allowing users to configure flexible alert rules based on environmental thresholds, with real-time notifications.
  • Geospatial Radius Filter, empowering users to query stations based on proximity to a specific location.
  • Advanced Data Querying Engine, extending the platform-wide table view with multi-parameter filter rules combining metric, operator and threshold values, connected by logical operators for complex environmental condition analysis.
  • Station Comparison View, providing side-by-side analysis of data from multiple monitoring stations with interactive, overlaid time series charts, enabling regional analysis, cross-station validation, and quick identification of correlations or anomalies.
  • OGC SensorThings API v1.1 Integration, enabling seamless interoperability with OGC-compliant systems through the OGC’s standardised open protocol.

Deployment details

The new release will be deployed on Thursday 19 March from 10:00 to 12:00 CET. During this window, the service may experience minimal downtime.
