We are pleased to announce the upcoming deployment of EDEN 4.2.0, which expands the service’s data portfolio with updated climate datasets and new hydrology datasets.
What’s new in this release?
Climate Change Adaptation Digital Twin datasets
The existing Climate Change Adaptation DT dataset in cloud-native data format will be replaced by the second-generation Climate Change Adaptation Digital Twin Phase 2 datasets in cloud-native data format.
ESA DTE Hydrology datasets
The following datasets from the ESA DTE Hydrology initiative will be added:
- DTE Hydrology Datacube (Monthly)
- DTE Hydrology Anomaly Datacube (Monthly)
- Landslides Historical Hourly Data (2007–2024) for Italian What-If Scenario Prediction
- DTE Hydrology Drought Classification (10 km, daily)
- Soil Water Index (2007–present, raster 12.5 km, global, daily) – Version 4
- Italian Landslide Catalogue (Italica), 2016–2021
- Soil Moisture Index (3 km, daily) in cloud-native data format
- DTE Hydrology Landslide Probability (high-resolution, 1 km, hourly)
- Landslides Preoperational Hourly Data
Deployment details
The new release will be deployed on Monday 28 September, from 10:00 and 12:00 CEST.
During this deployment window, the EDEN service will be temporarily unavailable.
