Scheduled maintenance affecting Islet Cloud services at the Leonardo site

From 29 June 2026 at 17:00 to 30 June 2026 at 06:00 CEST, scheduled maintenance will temporarily affect Islet Cloud resources and related platform services hosted at the Leonardo site.

Please be informed that maintenance activities are planned for the Islet Cloud service upgrade at the Leonardo site.

 

Maintenance window

Start: 29 June 2026, 17:00 CEST
End: 30 June 2026, 06:00 CEST

 

Impact

  • All cloud resources on the Leonardo Bridge, including virtual machines, load balancers, routers and Kubernetes clusters, will be shut down.
  • Islet Cloud services at the other DEDL sites will not be affected.
  • HDA will remain available, but requests to the Leonardo site may return an error or time out.
  • Stack Remote Compute Kernels hosted at the Leonardo site will not be available.
  • It will not be possible to create Dask clusters on the Leonardo Bridge.
  • Hook orders using Leonardo Bridge resources may take longer than usual to process or may not complete successfully.
  • It will not be possible to create Islet projects on the Leonardo Bridge through MyServices.

 

The main periods of service unavailability are expected from 18:00 to 22:00 CEST on 29 June and from 00:00 to 02:30 CEST on 30 June. However, some services may be temporarily interrupted or unavailable throughout the maintenance window.

 

Reason for Maintenance

This maintenance is necessary to upgrade the Islet Cloud service and ensure continued platform stability and security, as well as access to the latest OpenStack features and improvements.
