We are pleased to announce a new release of the DeltaTwin service, developed by partner GAEL Systems, focusing on the geospatial MIMs interoperability mechanism to support the ingestion and publication of geolocated sensor data.
What’s new in this release?
- OGC SensorThings API compliance
DeltaTwin® service now features a FRaunhofer Opensource SensorThings (FROST) server instance. This one implements the OGC SensorThings API as the unifying standard, providing a consistent, scalable, and interoperable interface that simplifies the integration, querying, and sharing of diverse sensor data. For demonstration purpose, the DeltaTwin® FROST server will be regularly updated with the height and flow of the Rhine river at different stations. The Starter Kit includes a DeltaTwin demonstrator, named demo-sensorthings-connector, that automatically retrieves the lastest published observations from the Rhine river as a GeoJson file. The code source of this component is available on the GAEL Systems Gitlab repository.
The DeltaTwin Documentation explains the interoperability mechanism and its integration within the DeltaTwin® service.
- DeltaTwin API version v2.0
Please note, that the DeltaTwin API has been updated to version v2.0. To continue working with DeltaTwin®, please update your deltatwin-cli.
The DeltaTwin API documentation is available here.
