Discover the new features on the DestinE Data Visualisation and Storytelling service.

What’s new in this release?

  • Request the publication of your stories
Users can now request the publication of their shared stories directly from the Story Editor. Each request will be evaluated by a review board. Users can check the status of their request from the new notifications panel. The number of requests per day is subject to a quota.
  • Generate animation from layers
Users can request the generation of videos from WMS layers. A notification in the new notifications panel will inform them of the outcome of the submitted request. The generated video can be downloaded or uploaded as a user asset and used in stories. The number of requests per day is subject to a quota.
  • New imagery layers from HIGHWAY:
    • EarthCARE
    • SMOS
    • PROBA-V

  • New imagery layers from Copernicus Atmosphere Service about methane (CH4) and carbon dioxide (CO2)

  • New monthly anomaly layers from ERA5
  • Improved layer search
Layers can now be found more easily thanks to the new filter section, which allows users to browse by data source, domain, model, and variable.
  • Apply custom style to your assets
Users can now adjust the opacity of GeoTIFF/COG files and change the stroke and fill colours of GeoJSON files.
  • Add rich text in the new centre layout.
