DeltaTwin new release live on 11 March

We are pleased to announce the new release of the DeltaTwin service, developed by partner GAEL Systems, which was previously available in beta testing version.

DeltaTwin enables users to effortlessly create, manage and combine digital twin components among a list of pre-selected processings and models. The resulting outputs, called artifacts, can either be published or stored privately.

Since June, we have improved our service capabilities, allowing users to run or schedule processes on remote infrastructure, catalogue their data in Drive storage and share it with the user community.

What’s new in this release?

  • Drive Data
DeltaTwin Drive now manages 2 types of data:

    • Artifacts: data generated by a DeltaTwin run
    • Resources: any data imported by the user into their workspace.

This storage is limited to 20 GB. Both the web interface and CLI have been enhanced to allow users to manage their Drive data effectively. Additionally, users can now reference their Drive data in their DeltaTwin workflows.

  • Publish DeltaTwin components in private mode
The ability to publish DeltaTwin components is no longer limited to administrators. Users can now deploy and run their own DeltaTwin components on DeltaTwin remote infrastructure.

  • Run DeltaTwin component with an input from SesamEO
Until now, only publicly accessible product URLs could be used as input to DeltaTwin components.  Now, SesamEO product URLs are supported by specifying a SesamEO API key. Users can navigate through SesamEO, find the product URL they need, generate an API key and copy the URL product into the input forms of the runs. The data is seamlessly downloaded at run time.

  • Running and scheduling DeltaTwin components
The web interface now allows users to schedule up to 5 runs. Runs are triggered either by setting a specific date or a recurring period of time. Within a 24-hour period, users can execute up to 10 runs, with a maximum of 2 simultaneous runs.

Deployment details

The new release will be deployed on Tuesday 12 March, starting at 14:00 CET, with an estimated downtime of about 2 hours.
