SesamEO new release live on 1 April

The new release of the SesamEO service, implemented by partner GAEL Systems, introduces access to Digital Twins datasets, the integration of the Data Cache Management Cache A as a data provider and several enhancements to optimise the user experience.

What’s new in this release?

Addition of data provider: the Data Cache Management Cache-A service has been integrated as data provider, allowing users to search its collections and download products.
Access to DestinE Digital Twins data: the EO.ECMWF.DAT.DT_CLIMATE_ADAPTATION and the EO.ECMWF.DAT.DT_EXTREMES collections are now visible to all users using keywords DT_CLIMATE_ADAPTATION and DT_EXTREMES, respectively.
Please note that only users with Upgraded Access can search and access products in this collection.
Users can now visualise OData requests matching their queries.
Improved error messages: clearer notifications when downloading archived products.
User journey improvements: the Copy Link button has been disabled to ensure users set their credentials before accessing the download URL.

Deployment details

The deployment of SesamEO v1.2.0 is scheduled for 1 April 2025 from 14:30 to 16:30 CEST. During this window, the service will be temporarily unavailable.
