DIVA demonstrator new release live on 13 July

The new DIVA demonstrator release delivers minor fixes to support continued service stability.

A new release of the DIVA demonstrator will be deployed on 13 July. Developed by Mews Partners in consortium with Atos, DIVA is a prototype AI assistant that transforms plain-language questions into charts about climate change.

 

What’s new in this release?

This quarterly update includes several minor fixes. It is part of DIVA’s continuous improvement cycle, ensuring the service remains stable, maintainable, and aligned with evolving technical standards.

This release specifically introduces:

  • Improved memory management and vulnerability corrections based on security scans
  • UI and functional fixes, including a correction to the feedback button and updates to ensure continued compatibility with the platform’s authentication system
  • Graph corrections: the warming stripes scale is now centered at 0, and the precipitation calculation for reference years has been corrected
  • Non-Latin character support: city matching for names with non-Latin characters (e.g. Greek) has been corrected

 

Deployment details

The new release will be deployed on 13 July from 10:00 to 12:00 CEST, with service downtime of up to 30 minutes.
