The new SesamEO release focuses on improving platform stability and user experience when browsing collections and managing product orders, addressing several issues identified by users.
The update also expands SesamEO’s data discovery capabilities with two additional CCI providers, offering users more ways to find climate datasets.
What’s new in this release?
New Providers
- CCI_ODP (Climate Change Initiative Open Data Portal): Provides access to open datasets from ESA’s Climate Change Initiative (CCI), supporting the discovery and access of climate data products.
- CCI_ODP_OpenSearch (Climate Change Initiative Open Data Portal – OpenSearch): Enables users to search for CCI data products and retrieve dataset metadata through the OpenSearch interface
Bug Fixes
- Fixes for trailing slashes and repeated /stac/stac paths
- Improvements to the Polytope filter

The new release will be deployed on Monday 19 October 2026, from 12:00 to 14:00 UTC (14:00 to 16:00 CEST). During this window, the service may experience temporary disruptions.
