Please be informed that maintenance activities are planned to upgrade the Islet Cloud service at the Central site.
The maintenance is necessary to ensure continued platform stability, security and access to the latest OpenStack features and improvements.

Start: 3 November 2026, 17:30 CET
End: 4 November 2026, 06:00 CET
Impact
During the maintenance window, services hosted at the Central site will experience temporary unavailability. Access to cloud resources and related platform functionality will not be available until the upgrade is completed.
The following impacts are expected:
- All cloud resources of Central site – including VMs, load balancers, routers and Kubernetes clusters – will be shut down
- Islet service at all other DEDL sites will remain unaffected
- HDA will remain operational, but requests routed to Central site may return errors or time out and internal FDP will not be available
- Stack service: Jupyter Hub will not be available and it will not be possible to spawn Dask clusters
- Hook service: ordering components will not be available
- MyServices might be temporarily unavailable and creating Islet projects on Central bridge will not be possible.
The main periods of service unavailability are expected from 18:00 to 22:00 CET on 3 November and from 00:00 to 02:30 CET on 4 November. However, some services may be temporarily interrupted or unavailable throughout the full maintenance window.
