Understanding Results

This page explains what CONOPS outputs mean and how to interpret them.

Outputs

CONOPS produces outputs such as:

  • Mosquito abundance indicators (MAMOTH)

  • Disease risk indicators (DVI)

  • Optional quality/explainability layers (if available)

Spatial and temporal resolution

  • Spatial resolution: 1x1/2×2 km grid (unless otherwise stated in the UI).

  • Temporal resolution: monthly or custom period (depending on user selection).

How to interpret the maps

  • Use the map legend to understand the indicator scale.

  • Compare results across months using the same AOI and model settings.

  • If explanation/quality layers exist, consult them before interpreting extremes.

Limitations

  • Output quality depends on input data availability for the selected AOI and time period.

  • Certain regions/time ranges may have limited EO coverage or cloud contamination.
