- AOI (Area of Interest)
The geographic area selected by the user for running an analysis.
- AAS (Advanced Application and Service)
A service integrated and delivered through the DestinE platform.
- Archive window
The supported historical time range for which the service can process requests (e.g., up to 1 year back).
- CSV
Comma-Separated Values file format, used for tables and spreadsheet analysis.
- DEDL (DestinE Data Lake)
The DestinE data repository from which CONOPS retrieves input datasets.
- DVI
Epidemiological model used by CONOPS to estimate mosquito-borne disease risk indicators.
- Export
Downloading results for external use. In CONOPS this includes CSV and GeoJSON.
- GeoJSON
A JSON-based geospatial format storing geometries (points/lines/polygons) and properties (attributes).
- IAM (Identity and Access Management)
Authentication and authorization services used to manage user access (DestinE uses Keycloak-based IAM).
- Indicator
A numeric output produced by the service (e.g., abundance or risk measure) for a given AOI and time period.
- MAMOTH
Entomological model used by CONOPS to estimate mosquito abundance indicators.
- NUTS
Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics. A European regional classification often used to select areas.
- Order / Job
A processing request submitted by a user. Orders have statuses such as Queued, Running, Completed, or Failed.
- Result feature
A result element (e.g., grid cell or region geometry) with associated attributes, exported in GeoJSON.
- Time period
The month or custom date range selected for running the analysis.
- XAI (Explainable AI)
Techniques and outputs that help explain model results (e.g., drivers/importance, quality/confidence indicators).
