About the service

The Quantum Service is designed to offer DestinE users a simple and consistent interface for experimenting with quantum computing leveraging the quantum emulators available in OVHcloud, and, at a later stage, also with upcoming real quantum devices. Quantum Emulators simulate the behavior of quantum systems and are useful for developing, testing, and running quantum programs in a safe and controlled environment. They make it possible to try out different quantum frameworks and technologies using only standard computing resources. The Quantum Service offers a range of emulator environments based on popular quantum computing frameworks. These environments are accessible through JupyterLab notebooks and come pre-configured with the selected framework and version. Users can choose the environment that best matches their needs or the technology they want to explore. Please note that due to a change in the OVH offering, starting from Monday, 19 January 2026, a maximum run time of 7 days for all emulators will be implemented. After this period, all emulators will be automatically stopped.
