We are pleased to announce the availability of a new DestinE Platform Knowledge Base page powered by the DestinE Platform Interoperability Service. The new page provides an interactive view of the DestinE Platform ecosystem, helping users better understand available services, datasets, and their relationships. The Interoperability System acts as the semantic backbone of the platform, enabling consistent descriptions of services and datasets and supporting discovery, integration, and reuse across the DestinE Platform
The page is populated from information managed through the Service Registry and allows users to explore service metadata, dataset portfolios, service-to-service relationships, and data dependencies through a navigable knowledge base. This enhanced visibility helps users discover relevant platform capabilities, understand how services interact with datasets, and navigate the DestinE Platform offering more effectively.
The underlying ontology is aligned with the DCAT-AP v3.0 standard and has been designed to support interoperability in accordance with the Minimal Interoperability Mechanisms (MiMs Plus Specification) promoted by the European data spaces initiative. This alignment contributes to a consistent representation of resources across the DestinE Platform and facilitates interoperability with external systems and data ecosystems.
This enhancement improves transparency and discoverability across the DestinE Platform, providing users with a centralized and intuitive way to navigate the platform’s services, datasets, and interoperability relationships
