We are pleased to announce a new version of AquaTrack, the digital service for monitoring lakes and reservoirs through Earth observation. This release focuses on a richer visual experience, smoother workflows and more reliable results.
What’s new in this release?
- Interactive 3D Scene — Explore lakes and their surrounding terrain through a new interactive 3D visualisation.
- Automatic processing updates — No more manual refreshes: statuses now update on their own (Queued → Processing → Completed), with notifications when your processing is complete and your results are available.
- Improved water detection — Our detection algorithm has been enhanced for more accurate and reliable results.
- New walkthrough guide — A step-by-step guide helps new users discover AquaTrack and launch their first analysis.
- Light mode and mobile access — Choose between light and dark themes, and access AquaTrack easily from smartphones and tablets.
Deployment details
The new release will be deployed on Monday 28 September, starting at 14:00 CEST.
The AquaTrack service will be temporarily unavailable for approximately 30 minutes during deployment.
