The DestinE Platform will participate as a sponsor in the 2026 Media Workshop, taking place at ESRIN in Frascati, Italy, on 18–19 June 2026.
Under the theme “Understanding Earth from Space: Data, AI and Communication for Climate Adaptation”, the event will bring together weather and climate journalists, scientists, communication specialists and experts from major international organisations.
The workshop will explore how new satellite missions, Earth observation data and artificial intelligence are contributing to weather forecasting, climate science and effective public communication.
On Friday, 19 June, the DestinE Platform will contribute to Session B: Artificial Intelligence and New Data Processing Capabilities with the keynote “The Promise of Digital Twins”.
The session will focus on how artificial intelligence, machine learning and automated processing can help manage the growing volumes of satellite data and transform them into actionable climate information. The DestinE Platform keynote will highlight the potential of digital twins to support a better understanding of the Earth system and enable users to explore data, simulations and scenarios for evidence-based decision-making and climate adaptation.
